1Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Ohana5Games ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of Tessera. By downloading, installing, or playing Tessera, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2The service

Tessera is a memory-tile puzzle game: study a pattern, then rebuild it from memory. It includes solo levels, a daily challenge, private friend-room multiplayer, a daily leaderboard, and optional in-app purchases.

3Eligibility

You must be at least [13] years old to create an account or make a purchase. If you're under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app and agree to these terms.

4Accounts

You can play anonymously with no account at all. If you create an email account to save your progress across devices, you're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away at support@ohana5games.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5Purchases & subscriptions

Tessera offers optional in-app purchases (hint packs, level skips) and an auto-renewing subscription ("Pro"). All payments are processed by Apple or Google — we never handle your card details directly.

• Consumables (hints, level skips) are delivered right after purchase and are non-refundable except as required by law or app store policy.
• Pro automatically renews at the price shown at purchase until you cancel. Manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — not by contacting us directly, since we don't control your subscription billing.
• Refunds are governed by the App Store's or Google Play's refund policy, not by us.
• What Pro includes may change over time; we'll describe current benefits in the app before you subscribe.

6Acceptable use

When playing with others, please don't:

• Use a display name, avatar, or in-game message that's abusive, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
• Attempt to disrupt the service or access another player's account.

We may remove content or suspend access for accounts that violate this section.

7Your content

You keep ownership of any profile picture or display name you provide. By uploading it, you grant us a license to store and display it to other players as part of normal use of the game (for example, in a friend match or on the leaderboard). Don't upload anything you don't have the rights to share.

8Our intellectual property

Tessera's design, code, artwork, and puzzles are owned by Ohana5Games and protected by intellectual property law. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the app as intended for personal, non-commercial play.

9Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Tessera is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

10Termination

You can stop using Tessera and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
